For my genius hour project I chose to focus on old and modern cartoons. 

I chose it because I thought it was a fascinating topic and no one else has done it.

I also wanted to learn about Walt Disney and other cartoon makers. I hope you enjoy!

This term Rimu class have been working on NZ artists. We all chose an artist to do a presentation on and then paint on a canvas. I chose Marion Towns to do mine on. I chose her because she only paints nature. I think that learning about NZ artists is important because we need to learn about different ways of painting so we can have more affective paintings.
